Yesterday I discovered the Sketch Lottery website is no more. From 2014 to 2018, I would occasionally submit pop culture sketches to the site. It had a good run. In the meantime, I’ll slowly re-post some of those same sketches in my blog.
Here’s one done of a minor droid from the Star Wars series. IG-88. IG–88 is a bounty hunter shown very briefly in 1980’s Empire Strikes Back. The assassin droid is only a blip in the film series, but featured more prominently in the comic books.

When I was a kid, I was very keen on Science Fiction and Fantasy. During my teens, and of course, due to the influence of my friends, got more into horror and “cult”/obscure films. The past ten years I’ve returned back to Sci-Fi. Including the Star Wars series, something I’ve enjoyed since childhood. Even if Disney owns the franchise now.
